Bill Moorier, PhD information

My PhD, in pure mathematics, was mostly about how the concept of a "complete normed algebra of differentiatiable functions" can break down on sufficiently strange subsets of the complex plane, and how to redefine the concepts to avoid such problems.

My supervisor was Joel Feinstein, which makes me one of the descendants of the famous mathematician G. H. Hardy.
